Description of Who Is St. Francis? (Ola School Faculty)
The purpose of this retreat is to better inform the faculty and staff at Our Lady of Angels on the life of St. Francis. Both the parish and the school are beginning a four year cycle of introducing the charism of our Capuchin Franciscan
priests into the life of the parish and school. Year 1 is all about the life of St. Francis. At the retreat, the faculty and staff will receive an overview of the life and message of Saint Francis and be introduced to the principal themes of his spirituality. The faculty will also receive support materials they can use to instruct the students this year in the life of St. Francis. They will also work together to create a blueprint for the St. Francis Feast Week at the beginning of October.
